Yorimitsu-sama (源 頼光), also known as Minamoto no Yorimitsu, is an ancient exorcist from the Minamoto Clan, and also the ancestor Kou Minamoto, Teru Minamoto and Tiara Minamoto.
Appearance[]
Yorimitsu was first seen briefly in Chapter 3, when Hanako is talking about the Minamoto Clan. In this depiction, he is a faceless, strong figure with Heian-period samurai clothing.
In Shinigami-samas flashback in Chapter 88, Yorimitsu is seen with more detail. He's a young with a striking resemblance to his descendants Kou, Teru and Tiara. Just like them, he has spiky ginger-blond hair, light blue eyes and two canine teeth. He wears his hair in a long ponytail held together with a white ribbon.
His outfit mainly consists of beige, dark pink and brown colors. His outfit resembles that of a samurai. He has beige Kobakama (short Hakama), white shirt with pink ribbons on his sleeves and dark pink and brown shoulder armor and thigh covers. On his feet, he has brown boots with gold decorations.
He is always carrying around his sword, which is white and gold. This sword became a family heirloom of the Minamoto Clan after his death.
Personality[]
Yorimitsu-sama is a very cheerful and happy person. He has an unwavering smile in all situations, even when fighting demons or on his death bed. He is also unexpectedly empathetic towards demons, as he was willing to spare Shinigami-sama when he saw that he wasn't malicious towards humans.
Abilities[]
Seeing Supernaturals[]
Since Yorimitsu is from an ancient clan of exorcists, he has the ability to see and interact with supernaturals, unlike normal human beings.
Spirit Blade and Lightning[]
Yorimitsu-sama owns a large katana, with which he can create lightning. According to Shinigami-sama in Chapter 87, Yorimitsu is a lot stronger than Teru or Kou. His sword has been passed down in the Minamoto family, and is currently owned by Teru, though Kou has also briefly used it.
Trivia[]
