Searching Arc[]
In Nene's quest to find Hanako, she goes to the Science Prep room after Yako mentioned she saw Hanako there. When she was opening the door, she bumped into Tsuchigomori who is leaving the room. He looked at her and ask to do something about Kou. Kou, coming out from the room as well, yells at Tsuchigomori while holding to a large container of insects that he handed to Nene after realizing her presence. Getting scolded by Nene for his actions, He mentions that he wants a favor from Tsuchigomori so thought that he would say yes if he gave him something to eat. Tsuchigomori questions him about who eats bugs before Kou recalls him eating a butterfly. He replies saying that butterflies aren't technically bugs.
With Kou's explanation as to how he got the bugs, Nene asks what is his favor. He just stares as at her before Tsuchigomori responding that it's career counseling. He mentions that he is a teacher to her while holding a book labeled with the topic at hand. Kou astonished at his answer, said Spider-face, which got corrected. Tsuchigomori questions Nene what she doing here and her answer is she was looking for Hanako. He tells her that Hanako was bumming around here for a while and went to the practice garden around the same time that Kou showed up. Then asks if she needs something from Hanako. She replies to him that something good happened to her and she wanted brag. Adding on, She also wants to ask about the clock keepers' yorishiro as it has been bugging her. Rubbing her head and he says that he hopes she can catch up to "Honorable No. 7". The last thing he asks is to take the container of bugs with her as she going to go to the practice garden.
In the Science Prep room, Tsuchigomori tells Kou that the future is not going change. He continues saying that it's Nene's fate to die and death will find her. Adding on, no one can change the future but, he could give him a peek at her future. Kou is ecstatic about his offer and calls him Spider-face, which got corrected again. He pulls out Nene's book which prompted him to respond that he thought the books disappear when the rumors died. Tsuchigomori corrects him saying that Kou can't go to the 4PM bookstacks anymore but, he was the curator so he does have his ways on retrieving its books. Showing Kou the book, He tells him that this future can't be altered and doubts that he can stop it. Kou runs out the room saying it can't be true as he cries. Tsuchigomori questions aloud to himself on Kou as a student mentions how he crashed into a shelf.
Mokke of the Dead[]
Seen in the near end of the chapter as one of the victims that gained kegare within the crowd. After being splashed with the ineffective, salty tangerine juice with a few others, him and the crowd continued their pursuit to infect the remaining few.
The Melancholy of the New No.3[]
In Mitsuba's attempt to find a new place to belong, He talked to a few school supernaturals. Amazed by how Tsuchigomori is a teacher and supernatural. Then asked if he can be his assistant. Tsuchigomori agreed and told him that he is going to serve as his emergency rations as well. This immediately got him called by Mitsuba as a weirdo and is the reason that the label next to him has written "The Weirdo Supernatural Teacher."
