For the original version of the character, see Shijima Mei
Shijima Mei (シジマメイ Shijima Mei?), is first and foremost, a variant of Shijima Mei who didn't met her demise in 1999 and therefore, didn't create the idealized self-portrait of herself that became "Shijima-san of the Art Room" of the Seven Mysteries, thanks to the actions of Kako and Mirai, which led to the creation of the New Present.
In this New Present, Shijima Mei either overcame her condition or never had it to begin with, and was briefly seen as a cameo in Chapter 112.
