Spoiler Alert

The School Fall Festival , also known as the Millennium Festival, is an event that happens sometime in September every year at Kamome Gakuen. They have various stands and activities to do throughout the day. The highlight of the School Festival is a school play hosted by the first years of either the Middle School or High School division at The Sealed Auditorium

Overview[]

The School Festival has been celebrated by Kamome Gakuen since 1902, which is also presumably the date when it was founded[1]. During the School Festival, all the school's students organize various stands, exhibits and other events to showcase their capabilities. Also during the festival, selected first year classes from either the Middle School or High School divisions organize plays at The Sealed Auditorium. The stories of the plays are based from either Fairy Tales or Western stories.

Known Festivals[]

The 66th Festival happened in 1968, during the time when Amane and Tsukasa Yugi were still alive, while the events of the 113th Festival happen in the present day of the story (Presumably 2015).

In the New Present, a different version of the 2015 School Festival happens, while in the past, the 81st Millenial Festival happened, when the New Present version of Yugi Amane was a schoolteacher.

Here are some of the noted festivals that have happened since it began:

Original Timeline Festivals[]

These are the School Festivals that happened in the Original Timeline, prior to Kako and Mirai changing the past and creating the New Present.

The 66th School Festival[]

Overview[]

During the 66th festival, Hanako (As Amane Yugi in life) and Tsukasa were first-years in middle school, which means their class performed a play in the Sealed Auditorium. Neither of them had acting roles, and only Tsukasa helped with the preparations.

It was during this festival that Amane attempted to fix The Clock inside the Sealed Auditorium that had stopped working, but he was ultimately unsuccessful.

Activities[]

High School Division[]

Middle School Division[]

  • Tsukasa's First-Year Middle School class performed a school play based on a European Fairy Tale Story, as presumed by their costumes (Chapter 107 implies this to also be The Wizard of Oz, as Tsukasa sang "Over the Rainbow".)[2]

Clubs[]

  • Rakugo Club
  • Independent Movies Club

Stands[]

  • Animitsu Stand
  • Fortune Telling Stand
  • Chilled Zenzai Stand

The 113th School Festival[]

Overview[]

In the current day, Kamome Gakuen begins its 113th festival, where the play "The Wizard of Oz" will be performed by Class 1-A. At the same time, various clubs and exhibitions were set up by the various year level sections, including a Haunted House exhibit hosted by Kou's class, an Astronomy club, an Orchestra club, a Maid and Butler Cafe hosted by Class 3-B (Of which Sakura Nanamine "joins" as a member), and an Ikemen Juice stand hosted by Natsuhiko's class

According to Minamoto Teru in his test performance of the mic, the theme of the 113th festival is "working together".

The 113th Festival would eventually be disrupted by several students suddenly transforming into plant-like supernaturals, thanks to Sakura using the petals on the posters that Shijima made for her. This was used as a distraction so that Natsuhiko can go accomplish his objective at the Sealed Auditorium's Big Clock without any problems. Later on, the clock would shatter and stop the school's time, leaving Kamome Gakuen and the 113th School Festival within it in an eternal suspense.

Following the reset of the Original Timeline by Kako and Mirai into the New Present, the 113th School Festival as well as everything within it was wholly overwritten into a very different (and trouble-free) School Festival.

New Present Timeline Festivals[]

These are the School Festivals that happened in the New Present Timeline, following Kako and Mirai's changing of the past and overwriting the Original Timeline with the New Present.

The Reset 113th School Festival[]

Overview[]

Following the resetting of time by Kako and Mirai, the events of the previous iteration of the School Festival were reversed, removing the prior attack by the Broadcasting Club and the Destruction of the Big Clock, and resetting time back to when the School Festival was just beginning.

As the Clock Keepers removed one tiny problem from the timeline, it caused a butterfly effect that wholly changes the present. Therefore, the exhibits, booths, stands and other activities that the Kamome Gakuen students are doing in this new present are different from what they were doing in the previous one.
