Satou Yomogi (Japanese: 佐藤蓬) is the other-half of the Yokoo and Satou duo of 3rd year middle school students at Kamome Gakuen's middle school. He is Minamoto Kou's friend alongside Yokoo Shun, and are usually seen together. He first appears in Chapter 18

Appearance

Satou Yomogi is shorter, with dark brown hair and matching, slightly upturned eyes. It is unclear whether his bangs fall left or right.

As a Middle School student of Kamome Gakuen, Satou wears the standard Kamome Gakuen middle school uniform.

While he and Yokoo are cleaning the pool in Shijima's world, Satou is shown in a blue and white collared shirt and black shorts.

They have also been shown wearing student council armbands.

Personality

In contrast to his friend Yokoo, Satou appears to be more stern and serious.

Satou has been confirmed to enjoy baking, such as in Chapter 59 when he shows up to class with a bag of cookies, saying, "I got on a roll and couldn't stop". When talking, he often references different types of pastries. This is because his family owns a sweets shop.

Trivia

• Satou prefers cola. That is in contrast to Yokoo, who prefers iced tea.
• Alongside Yokoo, Satou is part of the middle school committee, helping with the overnight study trip and helping the high school committee in chapter 65.
• Both he and Yokoo seem to care very much about Kou, such as when they tried to help court Yashiro for him.
• Both he and Yokoo develop small crushes on Aoi, but it dissipates after Akane beats them with a bat.
• Satou prefers to stay at home after witnessing lightning flashes, in contrast to Yokoo, who gets excited after seeing them.
• Satou doesn't mind the snowy weather, as he considers summers to be worse, in contrast to Yokoo, who dislikes snowy weather, since he can't play sports and is weak to cold.
• Satou's name is a homonym for the Japanese word for sugar, a reference to the fact that he likes sweets.
  • Satou's given name, Yomogi, comes from a plant that's popularly used in making Japanese sweets, like kusa mochi. He was named after it because his family owns a sweets shop.
• While Yokoo has an older sister in Yokoo Minami. It is unsure whether Satou has an older sibling or if Minami's Friend is his older sister.
  • Satou wishes that he has a sibling in the spotlight, implying that he either has no other siblings or that he has but none of them are popular with the school.
