Researcher A (A研究員 A Kenkyūin?), is first and foremost, a variant of Hanako who resides in the Universe of Kamome Monster Nursery.
In this universe, Researcher A is one of the many researcher working on the many monsters in in the Kamome Monster Nursery Facility headquarters, and one of the main characters of the event of the same name. He is the personal caregiver of Monster 3.
Appearance[]
As he is primarily a variant of Hanako, Researcher A retains many of his original counterpart's features, such as his unkempt hair and the "seal" talisman on his cheek (Which is unusual, given that he is implied to be a full-bodied human in his universe). Additionally, he also lacks features that the original counterpart has, such as his signature Gakuran and Hat, and since he is not a ghost in this universe, he also lacks his signature pair of Hakujoudai Tsueshiros.
Instead, he is dressed in a sharp and smart-looking scientist outfit, with a large white lab coat overlaying a red sweater (Reminiscent of Tsuchigomori's purple one), and a lanyard with an ID card hanging below his chest. The lab coat has 2 pockets, each containing unhatched Monster Eggs, and sometimes, the left pocket has a red pair of glasses hanging on it. The lab coat also has another ID Card pinned to its left side. He also wears dark-colored pants and shoes that are similar to his original counterpart's own.
Personality[]
Presumably Researcher A may have the same personality as his original counterpart, except he is not a pervert, and really cares for the monsters under his charge, especially Monster 3. Among all the three researchers put in charge of taking care of the monsters, he is the most level-headed one.
During the Monster Mental Test, Researcher A pretended to be cold and ruthless towards Monster 3 by telling him that he doesn't like bad children, unfortunately for him, it backfired as Monster 3 locked him in a cage and told him that he wouldn't let him go until Researcher A said a hundred things he likes about Monster 3.
Trivia[]
- Researcher A's entire outfit may be a homage to Tsuchigomori's own, down to the almost-similar lab coats sweaters that they both wear, with their own unique differences.
- An alternate version of the original character from the main timeline has an almost-matching outfit with Researcher A.
