Picture Perfect is the eleventh story arc of Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun. It's the subject of the latter half of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2.
Synopsis[]
The Picture Perfect Arc happens on an unspecified morning after Summer Lights, where Yashiro Nene and Minamoto Kou find themselves in a world created by School Mystery Number Four, in which Mitsuba and Hanako-kun (calling himself Yugi Amane) are alive. After trying desperately to get answers from them and seeing fake versions of Akane Aoi and Aoi Akane sliced into pieces in front of them, Kou and Nene confront Shijima Mei to try and escape the world.

- With a total of 18 Chapters, the Picture Perfect Arc is the story arc with the most chapters so far.
- According to Iro in an interview, the Picture Perfect Arc was originally written to be something that could be adopted into a movie, and thus can be a standalone story.[1]

In movie adaptations, the story takes place on a large scale and ends with a dramatic finish, so I kept that in mind while I was writing. Within the pilot version Shijima-san was in love with Number 7 (Hanako-kun), but when she came to the long series adaptation of Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun that element disappeared.
