- This series seems to take place in an alternate iteration of Kamome Gakuen, as the school uniforms, particularly for the girls is different from those in the Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun series, with the skirts being of a traditional design instead of being scalloped, the ribbon in the center being thinner and dark-colored, and the overall uniform having a more typical appearance.
- While Akane is the only character from the main series to be present in the one-shot, the very first image shows what appears to be Aoi and Lemon as they stare at Hatori Kyou.
