Mitsuba's camera is a digital camera formerly most notably owned by Mitsuba Sousuke.
Appearance[]
Mitsuba's camera is a mirrorless digital camera. It's dark brown with a gray bottom and top. It also has a red strap with a nametag that reads "MITSUBA". The camera has "Nikomi" written above the lens, which is presumably the name of the manufacturer company.
History[]
The camera used to belong to Sousuke's father, whose hobby was photography. After his death, Sousuke's mother left the camera for Sousuke to use, and he became very good at it. Sousuke earned multiple awards and joined the Photography Club. Sousuke almost always had his camera with him when he was alive, even in his classroom. According to Kou, Sousuke was obsessed with his camera.
After Sousuke's death, his camera was donated to the photography club. The nametag on his camera still read "MITSUBA", which is why Yokoo was able to recognize it. After Sousuke's death, he had turned into a ghost who roamed the school. When asked what his unfinished business was by Minamoto Kou, Sousuke claimed it had to do with photography. After Kou collected the camera from the photography club, Sousuke spent the day taking photos of landscapes and animals. Sousuke claims he didn't like to take pictures of humans. Kou offers to be Sousuke's subject, but Sousuke initially refuses. At the end of the day, the two had talked a lot more, and Sousuke takes a photo of Kou without him noticing. After Sousuke's death, the strap of his camera is broken, but otherwise it seems to be in fine condition. Kou takes the camera and develops the photos Sousuke took with the camera when he was a ghost. He also finds the photo Sousuke took of him.
The camera currently resides in Kou's room, in the Minamoto Residence. In Chapter 73 we see that Kou still keeps the camera on his shelf.
