The Mermaid Servants are servants of the Mermaid, following her orders as their ruler. They made their debut in Chapter 16, right after they witnessed Tsukasa's meeting with Hanako and Nene on the rooftop.
Appearance[]
They are fish servants who sometimes wear bow ties and mustaches. Compared to Nene in fish form, they are vastly larger than her.
Personality[]
They are often persistent and persuasive in their goals to make Nene the next princess, giving way for their formal tone. The pufferfish is the leader, having a teacher-student relationship with the other fishes. However, he has an intense dislike towards No.7, even as resorting to spying on Tsukasa for help. It ends on a brutal finish, and the fishes no longer come back again. Afterwards, they hold a funeral for the pufferfish, with the Mermaid deciding to drop their mission despite leaving Yashiro Nene in the hands of No.7.
Abilities[]
They are used to carry out the Mermaid's orders, bringing any of the sort to persuade Nene in joining their world of fish (eg. ink printings of potential suitors and a vial filled with the Mermaid's blood) before dragging her into the water. They are able to appear anywhere within the range of the school even if it doesn't have water.
Trivia[]
• The pufferfish was killed with a pen by Yugi Tsukasa in Chapter 17. Oddly enough, this scene wasn't shown in the anime.
