Clockwork Owl Guardians

The Clockwork Owl Guardians are the inhabitants of the Clock Keepers' Boundary, and as such, they are at the service of the Three Clock Keepers.

Description[]

The Clockwork Owl Guardians are golden-colored mechanical supernaturals of various sizes that resemble clockwork owls. They wear owl masks similar to those worn by the Clock Keepers on their faces. They have small clocks in their chests, a winding key above their heads, and depending on some types, either single leg or a pair of legs that end up in claws with two or three prongs of talons in the front, and a single one at the back (If they have only three talons, the middle talon is not present). Their main purpose is to attack any intruding threats by siphoning the time out of them until they are unmade. They usually attack in flocks.

The majority of the Clockwork Owl Guardians are large enough to be mounted on by those who are at least the size of youngsters, as a single Clockwork Owl Guardian was hijacked by Yugi Tsukasa, and was able to carry both he and the time-reversed Yashiro Nene to a safe spot. However, smaller Clockwork Owl Guardians exist as well, as evident by the one that spoke for Nene when she was afraid of telling her secret.

Aside from protecting the boundary, they also serve as intermediaries between the accused and any of the Clock Keepers during any of the trials that they hold, as they can convey the thoughts and words of the accused that are afraid to speak up, as well as serving as the jury.
