Summary[]

Part 1: After the Displacement (Nene, Mitsuba, Hanako and Kou)[]

The Chapter begins with Yashiro Nene recalling the last words that the time-displaced Yugi Tsukasa said to her in the previous chapter, before he and the past festival disappeared into thin air. After they disappeared, Yashiro wondered on what Tsukasa was talking about, and then concluded that he must have been talking about the Clock in The Sealed Auditorium. She also remembered that Hanako once told her that when he was alive, he had attempted to get the clock moving again. Finally, she came to the conclusion that in other words, Hanako, or rather, Yugi Amane wanted to go to either the past or the future for some reason.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Mitsuba calling out to her if she was listening to him. Mitsube was so shocked by the events that happened that his mind went all the way back to where it began, by asking Yashiro if the Tsukasa that they saw was the Tsukasa from back then, what he had meant by "daydreaming" and finally, why did he started talking to them in the first place. Mitsuba claimed that what he did was terrifying and he was so scared that Yashiro had to tell him to relax, and that things like that happen sometimes (While recalling about her Summer Lights Festival incident where she met young Amane). However, Mitsuba told her that it wasn't normal at all.

Mitsuba then asked Yashiro if they can talk to anyone about what happened, with Yashiro telling him if he can just ask (Present Day)Tsukasa himself. However, Mitsuba replies negatively, saying that talking to him is too scary, and mentioned that at best he would give a vague answer, and at worse, try to make a wish out of it. Yashiro remembers Tsukasa's actions, and then agrees with Mitsuba's answer. Mitsuba then suggested if they talk about it to either Hanako or Minamoto Kou. Yashiro gives a long pause, to which Mitsuba justifies it by stating that Hanako is a "Bats*it Insane Toilet-Bound Wimp", while Kou is a "Closet Psychopath", recalling the Hell of Mirrors incident between the former and Tsukasa, and the latter's action of killing the supernatural fishes at The Aquarium.

Just then, both Hanako and Kou appeared right behind him, revealing that they were actually there the entire time, and heard all that he said about them. They both dared Mitsuba to say what he said about them again. Mitsuba screams and tries to run away but is caught by Kou through his scarf, whereas Hanako just politely greets Yashiro. Yashiro asks why Hanako and Kou are together, to which Kou answers that he saw him around the Auditorium and followed him so that he wouldn't be doing anything. To which Hanako responds that it is rude since he wasn't actually doing anything in there, and that he's not Mitsuba (He calls him No.3). Yashiro then asks what they were doing, and Hanako told her if she remembered what he told her about the Clock at the Sealed Auditorium. He had tried to fix it when he was alive, and so decided to check it again to see if it can jog his memory. Yashiro asks if it did, to which Hanako answers in his usual cheery way that it didn't jog his memory one bit. To which Yashiro just stared blankly at him.

Hanako decides not to think about it before as it is now in the past, and that it is too late to change anything at that point. He also admits that he wants to watch Yashiro's performance as a tornado in the upcoming Wizard of Oz play, to which Kou responds with excitement at her role, and Mitsuba wondering why Kou thinks that it is cool, and choosing to go watch it regardless. Hanako asks Yashiro on what she was doing with Mitsuba, and she answers that he tagged along on her shopping trip. Mitsuba then held her close and teases Hanako by claiming that they actually went on a date outside school grounds, boasting that Hanako cannot go beyond the grounds for his entire afterlife.

In response, Hanako angrily asks on what Mitsuba meant by "Date", and Yashiro answered that they just had ice cream. Likewise, Kou also angrily responds to Mitsuba, threatening to plaster him to the school's billboard, with Mitsuba asking what he meant by that. Then Mitsuba does a chokehold on Mitsuba using Raiteijou while angrily saying that he went to eat ice cream after committing all that trouble with the sign from earlier. Then he suggested to Hanako if they can go get some parfaits themselves, with Hanako's money, to which he responds that why would he do that.

While the boys were arguing with one another, Yashiro's thoughts drift to when she saw the high school Amane after she entered the door in the "Place that is Nowhere and Everywhere". She had noted that he was crying when she saw him, and that his body was full of injuries. She wondered if his entire life was filled with sorrows, and that what would happen if Hanako today remembered his very own past. She thought of this as she was looking at the present day Hanako, who then gave her a smile and called her name. Yashiro can't help but feel sorrowful for his past self, and hoped that he never remembers everything about the past.

Part 2: Preparations for the School Festival (Akane and Teru)[]

Meanwhile, inside the Kamome Gauken's Audience Hall/Basketball Court, Aoi Akane was testing the microphone for Minamoto Teru to use during the announcements. He gives the motion for Teru to test the mic again, and without further ado, Teru begins his rather elaborate test performance. He begins by introducing himself, and then explaining that the theme for the 113th School Festival is "working together". But just before he could continue the announcement, the Mic suddenly screeches loudly and reverbs loudly around the Audience Hall, shocking Teru and causing Akane to cut off the mic connection.

Akane then approached Teru and told him that the mic's no good, and that he'll have to make a loud spoken announcement without the use of any mic. But Teru responds that they can't do that, as other groups would need it, and so suggests that they swap the mic instead. then Teru asks Akane what they got left for today. Akane responds that there were two instances of clubs that neglected to apply for equipment, namely the Science Club that needed blackout curtains for their planetarium, and the Orchestra is missing 16 chairs for their cafe.

Teru responds with "Oh Wow", while Akane continues on, stating that he had asked them to submit the necessary documents several times, and that they neglected to do just that. He quips whether the club members of both clubs were both out of their minds in which they can just cry out to the Executive Committee and then all their troubles will be solved in an instant. Then angrily, Akane slams his files onto the floor, and angrily asks what good is a bright planetarium and a cafe that anyone can't sit and dine in, while calling them idiots. Teru tries to calm him down by saying that everyone makes mistakes.

Then Teru asks if there are any other issues, and Akane makes another remark that the edits he made for the video of the opening ceremony were lost, causing Teru to seemingly become shocked at the news. Teru threatingly asks who did the deed, with Akane responding that it wasn't him, clarifying that it was Yamabuki Lemon's recorded dance video that overwrote Teru's saved data.

Seemingly in response to the news, Teru took out his beads and lengthened them, seemingly to punish Akane by hanging him with them, as he did to him after the events of the Three Clock Keepers arc. Akane can't help but give a surprised "huh", as he sees Teru coming at him. Scared that Teru might punish him for the loss of his edits, Akane defended himself, stating that he was only laughing at how Yamabuki lost the data. He further continued in a scared tone that he will have to redo the entire work again, and that such a thought like that had briefly crossed his mind. Teru didn't respond to what he said but instead stretched out his hand as in to grab Akane, which made him think that he was gonna kill him. However, instead of grabbing Akane, Teru went out and captured an origami crane that was near him. Akane was shocked to see the origami crane, as Teru begins to crush it. However, the craine turned into flames and escaped, while scarring his hand with burns in the process.

Shocked by the turn of events, Akane asked Teru on what was the thing that he took. Teru answered that it was a shikigami that is used for observational purposes. But looking at his scarred and burned hand, he corrects himself, and stated that it was instead, a tsueshiro. He then stated that someone could have planted it on Akane, and asked him if there are any guesses as to who would plant it on him. Akane then remembered his encounter with Hyuuga Natsuhiko, and then give out a loud "Ohhhhh", as he realizes who could have planted such a thing.

Akane made up his mind that he'll go talk to the person that planted the tsueshiro and confront him, but not before telling Teru that he should go to the Infirmary. Teru looked at Akane as he explained that he was hurt by the tsueshiro's fires. Teru then answers Akane that it will heal fast, with Akane rebutting that when a high school student is injured, they should go to the Infirmary.

Part 3: Setting up a Surprise (Sakura and Natsuhiko)[]

Sometime after the events that happened to Akane and Teru, a poster is seen being posted on the bulletin board that says "3-B MAID AND BUTLER CAFE" while flower petals seemingly flutter away from the poster itself. Suddenly, two students in their maid outfits presumably students from Class 3-B approach Nanamine Sakura, who is also wearing a maid outfit, and was the one who placed the poster earlier. The two of them told her that they are finished placing the posters up on the old school building, to which Sakura thanks the two of them and exclaims that she's almost finished herself. The students asked Sakura if she can move around well in her maid outfit, with Sakura responding positively, and one of the students fixing her crooked ribbon in her maid outfit. Then the two students said to Sakura that if they're finished, they should take a picture with everyone and they would do it at dressing time, to which Sakura just muttered "ok". Then the two students depart to continue posting the fliers in other locations and wave goodbye to Sakura.

As Sakura waves back at them, she hears a grunt, and turns back, only to see Hyuuga Natsuhiko seemingly down. She stares at Natsuhiko with a shocked face, and then asks him what he was doing, to which Natsuko responds in usual flowery language, stating that she's so beautiful that she looks no different from an angel that dances through a twilight sky. Then he gets up on his knees, takes Sakura's hand, and asks if he could give her a kiss, to which Sakura tells him to shut up, which he obliges.

As Sakura and Natushiko stroll throughout the school grounds, he exclaims that the Maid and Butler Cafe that Sakura's class is holding sounds fun and is a classic that can't be beat, to which Sakura replies that it really can't be beat. Natsuhiko then watches lovingly as Sakura posts another poster on a bulletin board. After she finishes posting the poster, 2 other students appear and are surprised by Sakura's maid appearance. They asked Sakura if they could get some of her posters to set up in their club room. Sakura obliges, and they took some of her posters with them.

After a while, Sakura and Natsuhiko rested on a staircase. Natsuhiko asks Sakura if she's having fun with the festival, and she doesn't say anything. Natsuhiko then further continues, asking Sakura if this is her first time participating in the festival, to which she responds with "Yes". She then admits that working hard together with everyone is an action that was new to her, and that she found it fun. But Natsuhiko ruined the moment by taking a picture of Sakura in her most somber moment, causing her to stare angrily at him while he grins, asking her why she is staring angrily at him. Natsuhiko then tells Sakura that he'll be going to her Maid and Butler Cafe, to which Sakura tells him not to, and changing to topic, asks him what his class is doing. Natsuhiko answers that they are doing an "Ikemen Juice Stand", to which Sakura acknowleges, while not knowing what that is.

At that point, the damaged tsueshiro returns and Natsuhiko asks if Akane saw him, to which the tsueshiro gives an inaudible response that only Sakura and Natsuhiko can understand. Natsuhiko then realizes that the tsueshiro was crushed by Teru, and exclaims that it is something scary. Sakura then approaches Natsuhiko and asks him if he had spoken with Akane and how it went. Natsuhiko answers that he had invited him to destroy the yorishiro and work together in destroying them, only for Akane to flat out refuse and throw something at him with speed and power. Then Natsuhiko exclaims that if only he had brought up Akane Aoi's damaged hand as part of his bargain, then that would have led to a different result. Sakura remarks that it is unfortunate and Natsuhiko responds on a positive note that thanks to the tsueshiro, he was able to find out the location of the elusive boundary of the Three Clock Keepers, and that is still something that was achieved.

Natsuhiko then exclaims that all that's left to do is to lure both "The Top Dog who has been conquering the boundaries for us" and "The Present-day Kannagi" into unwittingly fulfilling their objectives. With the both of them, they would be able to finally destroy The Three Clock Keepers' Yorishiro. Sakura affirms the plan, and she exclaims that with the Maid and Butler Cafe posters that are actually revealed to be made by Shijima Mei, it would be almost time for them to take action as well. Then both Sakura and Natsuhiko proceeded to the school's rooftop.

Once there, Sakura takes one of the posters, inhales and blows through the corner of one of the poster, turning it into dozes of fluttering petals that then scatter and flutter around the school. One such petal hits Yokoo Minami, leading the other student to ask what had happened to her. Minami exclaims that something had hit her eye but it would be alright. When she faces the other student, the petal had actually altered the iris of her eye, turning it into a heart-shaped iris.

Sakura, then looks on as the petals begin to take their effect on the various students (represented by various students covering their eyes as the petals alter their irises), and as she strolls with Natsuhiko, he exclaims that he is hyped for the school festival, and what might happen in the future. The Chapter then ends.
