I just had the craziest idea ever. I was re-reading and I noticed that only the gods appoint the school mysteries, right? Well, we learn from book 19 that Sakura was the one that appointed School Mystery Number 6. And he's not just an underground mystery. He has a seat at the "School Mystery Meetings." Therefore, the other school mysteries must recognize him as a school mystery. Meaning that he wasn't appointed by some random human girl. Is there any chance that Sakura is a god, and that's why she was able to appoint him? She seems to know all the information on Nene's life span, advising her not to destroy all the school yorishiros, and is able to see supernaturals, which in and of itself is a pretty impressive feat for just a normal human. And she isn't a supernatural, because she's able to spread rumors. I think this may be a solid theory, which is why Natsuhiko had devoted himself whole-heartedly to her. Plus, when she explains that all the living, dead, and the supernatural might all just cease to exist, she quotes, "But that's not my problem." What is the only thing outside of those three categories? Gods. That also explains her indifferent attitude towards everything and her unnatchment to anything. That would also explain her communication skills being bad, because she hasn't communicated with humans in ages, which is why she uses manuals whenever she wants to do something, such as when she plans a surprise party for Mitsuba (she uses a book planner) and when she tells Nene that Senpais are supposed to live up to their Kouhai's expectations (she suggests that she read about it). My usual overthinking might actually be real.
